The Clackamas Fire District #1 is available to bring out the Safety Trailer. The safety trailer is equipped with a variety of props for teaching many aspects of safety: cooking safety, gun safety, water safety, and bicycle safety. The fire safety trailer is a versatile tool to teach fire safety to all ages. The trailer is equipped with a smoke machine to simulate a real life scenario of home fire escape.

Contact Chief Bob for more information and scheduling!
Gresham Fire and Rescue
503-618-2355 The Gresham Fire fighters will stop by your Summer Food site! The firefighters display and demonstrate their equipment and pass along valuable fire and life-safety information. Call early to schedule them, as they are often very busy!
Hillsboro Fire and Rescue

Have the Fire and Rescue come out to your site and teach the kids there some fire and life safety in a fun and interesting way!
Molalla Fire Department

They also have access to a "Sparky The Dog" Costume, and they also work closely with the Oregon Department of Forestry in Molalla, who has a "Smokey The Bear Costume".
Portland Fire and Rescue

It is best to let them know well ahead of time as they have many logistical details to work out and of course are busy. Portland Fire and Rescue can also bring out fire safety, injury prevention, and home escape plan information to do a presentation to your group. The presentation involves a traveling part of a house that participants can practice escape routes on. Along with the presentation, Fire and Rescue will bring out give-a-ways like hats, stickers, and activity books! They wanted to let you know that for those of you able to do field-trips they offer a private kid-centered tour of the historic Belmont Fire Station at SE 35th & Belmont. TVF&R can provide someone to provide your group with attention-grabbing presentation on community safety, emergency preparedness, or fire and life safety. North Division serves: Aloha, Beaverton, parts of Tigard, Skyline, and areas of unincorporated northeast Washington and Multnomah County. South Division serves: Durham, King City, Rivergrove, Sherwood, Tigard, Tualatin, West Linn, Wilsonville and unincorporated portions of Washington and Clackamas County.
